{"id":721,"date":"2013-01-11T10:09:46","date_gmt":"2013-01-10T23:09:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.soyounfotoarts.com\/blog\/wordpress\/?p=721"},"modified":"2020-08-16T14:34:16","modified_gmt":"2020-08-16T04:34:16","slug":"anish-kapoor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.soyounfotoarts.com\/blog\/wordpress\/2013\/01\/11\/anish-kapoor\/","title":{"rendered":"Anish Kapoor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I like to start New Year with arts and this time, encountered with Anish Kappor&#8217;s works at MCA.<\/p>\n<p>Passing the huge polished stainless steel mirror work, <em>Sky Mirror<\/em>, which is reflecting the sky in front of the building, I entered into the gallery room filled with\u00a0over size &#8211; but smaller than <em>Sky\u00a0Mirror &#8211;\u00a0<\/em>art works. While I was playing with my reflection and distortion on\u00a0the stainless hexahedron, I felt like playing in front of a fun mirror in an amusement park. Also, the slight shift of movement appeared on the surface reminded me Daniel Crooks&#8217;s video work with distorted images. When I reached to rectangle shape covered with deep blue pigment, I\u00a0thought about Yves Klein&#8217;s International\u00a0Klein Blue\u00a0(IKB). The\u00a0surface protruded from the white wall\u00a0radiated indescribable sense\u00a0when I stood in front of it.
